The product and team:
Within the Data, Analytics and AI division at Swisscom, you design, develop and deploy our flagship data products and (self-)services, including our new metadata management platform built on the open-sourced datahubproject.io
What will you do as Full Stack Engineer?
- You are part of a small team with big ambitions, to bring Swisscom's Metadata Management Platform to all 20,000 Swisscom employees to find, curate and make better decisions with data
- You have an opportunity to improve, extend and maintain our new full stack platforms
- Support our young and ambitious team with sought-after AWS & backend skills.

- Salary from 3700 to 7000 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements
- Very strong software engineering experience (at least 5 years)
- "Jack of all trades", able and willing to take care of all relevant aspects of our systems
- Proficient in Java or Python
- Deep understanding and usage of Kubernetes and Docker (opt. Helm)
- Experience with usage and creation of REST APIs
- Experience with at least one component-based Javascript web framework (VueJS, React)
- Understanding of Kafka, Elasticsearch and Postgres
- Good English
What Sets you apart
- Knowhow with AWS to support our future product landscape
- Understanding of Data Modelling to consult with other teams, highlighting gaps or inconsistencies to extend our metadata ingestions and connectors
- Experience with SRE especially with toil reduction, Monitoring and Alerting
- Hands-on experience with opensource projects (eg. datahubproject.io)
- Skilled across DevOps practices notably with CICD(inc. Gitlab)
- Awareness or experience in some BI Tools and Data Warehousing applications for connectivity and integration. (Microstrategy, Tableau, Teradata)
