YOUR MISSION
As a Software Test Automation Engineer / SDET, you will:
As a Software Test Automation Engineer / SDET, you will:
- Help with implementation of a lean and efficient automation framework, automation tools and test scripts aligning to the overall test automation strategy that promotes Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Agile practices
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for daily build, functional, performance, reliability and stress scenarios in automated fashion
- Identify automation opportunity in manual test scenarios and develop for efficiency and speed
- Help create and improve supporting tools, setups and procedures to enhance test automation capabilities
- Help develop continuous build automated test scheduler and test reporting tools
- Debug and fix defects in the existing automation framework for efficiency and accuracy
- Education & Experience: BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent) with 5–10 years of practical software testing and automation experience
- Programming & Scripting: Strong skills in Python, Java/Groovy, and Shell scripting
- API Testing: Hands-on experience with Postman, REST Assured, SOAPUI, and Bruno
- Automation Frameworks: Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright in agile workflows applying TDD/BDD best practices
- CI/CD & Version Control: Proficiency with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Git, and code coverage tools
- Test Management & Reporting: Experience using Jira Xray and test data management with solid knowledge of data analysis and statistics
- Architecture & Systems: Strong understanding of client/server systems, microservices architectures, API development, and security best practices
- Cloud & Containerization: Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and interoperability of complex systems
- Domain Expertise: Background in payments, banking, or fintech is highly desirable; ISTQB certification is a plus
- Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus
