We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to provide technical leadership, strategic guidance, and oversight for the development of spacecraft avionics and propulsion subsystems.


This is a senior leadership role where you’ll mentor engineers, review and optimize designs, guide manufacturing strategies, and support business development through market analysis and proposal contributions. You’ll play a key role in shaping cutting-edge NewSpace products through rapid development approaches.


🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring technical excellence and best practices.
  • Review designs, reports, and test plans for quality and compliance.
  • Optimize manufacturing strategies, select suppliers, and improve production processes.
  • Align subsystem designs with overall spacecraft architecture.
  • Support testing and verification campaigns to ensure systems are space-ready.
  • Contribute to market analysis and identify strategic applications for growth.
  • Support business development through proposal writing and tender responses.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure competitiveness.

✅ What We’re Looking For


Essential:

  • Strong background in spacecraft avionics, electronics, and systems engineering.
  • Proven end-to-end product development experience (concept → qualification).
  • Track record of guiding engineering teams and ensuring technical quality.
  • Knowledge of system engineering, reliability, and verification processes.
  • Experience with institutional actors, tenders, and proposals.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier selection.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strongly Valued:

    • Experience with space hardware qualification & ECSS standards.
    • Knowledge of propulsion systems, testing, and verification.
    • Hands-on experience with PCB design, embedded software, and power electronics.
    • Familiarity with digital communication protocols (UART).
    • Experience with test campaigns (TVAC, vibration, radiation, thermal).
    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and quality management skills.
    • Market analysis and supply chain management experience.
