We are currently seeking an Android Developer to take responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications with a strong focus on product outcomes.

As an Android Developer at Sage, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features that align with product goals and business objectives, while taking ownership of the product lifecycle and actively contributing to key success metrics such as user engagement, stability, and business impact.

*** Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Barcelona office. ***

Responsabilidades principales

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.
  • Monitor product metrics (e.g., crashes, retention, engagement) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in product planning and prioritize features based on technical feasibility and impact.
  • Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
  • Track post-release performance and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.





Requirements

  • A solid background in Android development with Kotlin.
  • Strong understanding of Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Compose).
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous data flows.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude) and performance monitoring tools.
