Role Description

As a software developer, specializing in frontend, you will play a central role in the development of our Digital Toolbox. The Digital Toolbox is a customer portal, with an associated product configurator (CPQ) and a desktop application that is used to connect to our products via BLE. You will work on both new development and further development of our applications, which means an exciting mix of maintenance and greenfield projects. In close collaboration with our dedicated development team, you will create intuitive and robust user interfaces that make a difference for our internal and external customers.

Initially, you will receive an introduction and support from senior colleagues in the team. In the long term, you are expected to become independent and contribute to the development of our Toolbox, including support for older and upcoming products. Learn more about our Digital Toolbox here:

Team

You will work within the Product Management department, which consists of product owners, product specialists and senior front- and back-end developers. In other words, you will be part of a team with broad expertise. We work iteratively with 2-4 releases per year and collaborate with other departments on specifications and UAT.

We are a “big-small” company with open communication and a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Since we do most of the work in-house, you will receive direct feedback on what you develop.

Qualifications

We see that you have at least 5 years of experience in front-end development and/or a higher education in computer science and technology. We believe that programming is a craft that can be applied across different programming languages and platforms, but experience with Electron app. development is a requirement for this job. The projects related to this position are divided into:

• Modulate: TypeScript, Electron, NodeJS, NAPI/Node Gyp, Vue/Vuex
• Modulate CLI: Typescript, NodeJS
• Portal: TypeScript, NodeJS, NuxtJS, E2E/U testing with Playwright/Jest, Docker

We see knowledge in other areas as meritorious (Python, Java, C++, Azure services...). We expect the right candidate to have a strong interest in technology and learn quickly.
