Job Description

We are looking for several Data Engineers to join our team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of modern data platforms and cloud-based API solutions. The role involves both operational support and ongoing development of data processes, pipelines, and integrations to ensure reliable and accessible data for business-critical applications and analytics.

As a Data Engineer, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain systems for collecting, storing, and processing large-scale data.
  • Develop and test architectures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
  • Work with cloud-based solutions, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Build and maintain API solutions in the cloud, including critical sales and transactional flows.
  • Take ownership of both development initiatives and operational maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data flows to ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and enhance processes for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data.
  • API Development: Develop and maintain cloud-based APIs used by multiple applications.
  • Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as API performance degradation, failed pipelines, or missing data.
  • Availability & SLA: Participate in extended SLA coverage (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends) with a commitment to respond to incidents within 60 minutes.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer working with large-scale data systems.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience developing and maintaining APIs.
  • Solid background in working with databases and large datasets.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and incident management in production environments.
