Are you looking to broaden your career? Fisher Scientific have an outstanding opportunity for a sales/commercially savvy professional to join an established, hard-working and successful European Life Science team.
You will be responsible for driving the execution of the life science commercial strategy for your region by leading key sales opportunities, and by working with the sales teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.
You will maintain effective customer, sales team and supplier relations, developing and implementing a strategic and tactical plan which will deliver on revenue and gross margin objectives.
Demonstrating a high level of segment/industry knowledge, you will facilitate meaningful supplier interaction with the wider commercial team and end users, ensuring commercial terms align with our profitability goals!
The successful person will be located in the Benelux or Nordics and will be happy to travel to our customers anywhere within these regions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences along with significant and relevant, industry-specific experience
- Commercial experience, preferably within Life Sciences. Knowledge/understanding of how a laboratory works (and/or the production environment). Experience from a wide range of sectors including academia, pharmaceutical, biotechnology would be an advantage.
- Specialist portfolio knowledge and experience in a specialist advisory role preferred.
- Ability to influence others
- Experience working to key performance indicators. To include, sales performance, and CRM opportunity management.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, IT and presentation skills (written and spoken english required)
- Self directed and goal oriented
- Effective sales planning and territory management skills
- Able and willing to travel to customer locations (25-50% of time) (Full driver’s license required)
