Technical Security Architect – Oslo
Our global consultancy client is expanding rapidly and has several exciting projects underway. As part of this growth, they are seeking a Technical Security Architect to help digitise and modernise critical IT solutions for some of Norway’s most important organisations.
This role is an opportunity to work on societally critical assignments, designing and implementing innovative security solutions that protect digital assets and ensure resilience in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architectures and strategies for large-scale IT environments.
- Ensure solutions align with best practices and security standards.
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to deliver secure, holistic solutions.
- Conduct risk analyses and vulnerability assessments, addressing threats proactively.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in real time.
- Continuously improve processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science, information security, or related.
- 4+ years of experience in security architecture and design.
- Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, DevSecOps, IAM, or network security.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO2700x, or NSM principles.
- Experience with security in microservices/event-driven architectures and tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication in Norwegian and English.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
