Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of new features for our backend services under the guidance of senior team members.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in Java, Python, and TypeScript.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues and bugs in our production environment.
- Actively participate in code reviews, team meetings, and Agile ceremonies to learn best practices and contribute to team goals.
- Gain exposure to different layers of our application, including backend services, databases, cloud infrastructure, and front-end components.
- Experience: 1-3 years of software development experience, preferably within an enterprise software environment.
- Core Programming: A foundational understanding of Java, object-oriented language, and design patterns.
- CS Fundamentals: Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and basic database concepts.
- Cloud Exposure: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts; some exposure to a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required.
- Databases: Basic knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire to learn new technologies and a passion for solving problems with code.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Experience with front-end technologies like ReactJS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and version control (Git).
- Exposure to containerization concepts (Kubernetes).
