Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and test new features for Android apps, ensuring they meet user needs and work across various devices and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with designers, QA engineers and product managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Optimize app performance, focusing on memory management, caching, and efficient resource allocation.
Experience:
- 8+ years of development experience with a strong grasp of industry standards.
- Proven expertise in implementing software design patterns.
- Hands-on experience in Java for Android app development.
- Experience with creating automated test suites and ensuring code quality.
- Familiarity with Agile/scrum development methodologies.
- Experience developing Kotlin/Java applications.
- Strong understanding of Android components, including fragments, animations, threading, and the latest Android APIs.
Skills:
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Understanding of Android design guidelines and interface standards.
