This is a high-impact leadership role (Director/Managing Director level), responsible for driving innovation, resilience, and regulatory compliance in the design and operation of critical cyber and infrastructure security platforms.
The successful candidate will lead global teams across areas such as infrastructure security, cloud and platform protection, identity & access management (IAM), and data security. This role will partner closely with Technology, Risk, and Executive stakeholders to embed security-by-design and enable business transformation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Cyber Security Engineering and Technology Infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the client’s enterprise risk and digital agendas.
- Lead global teams (including regional hubs and third-party vendors) across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Deliver scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and platform security capabilities, including SIEM/SOAR, PAM, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
- Embed security controls and architecture principles into infrastructure, DevOps, and enterprise IT operations.
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence across global frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, MAS TRM, GDPR).
- Act as a senior advisor to the CISO, CIO, and Board on infrastructure and cyber risk.
- Manage large-scale budgets and vendor ecosystems, ensuring efficiency and measurable returns.
- Drive governance and reporting metrics across cyber risk posture, audit readiness, and incident response.
- Lead response and remediation efforts for complex security threats or platform vulnerabilities.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF) are advantageous.
- Over 15 years of leadership experience across Cyber Security Engineering and Technology Infrastructure, preferably in complex, global organizations.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams across infrastructure and security disciplines.
- Strong technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (networks, hosting, storage, end-user computing) and modern security architecture (e.g., zero trust, cloud-native security, IAM).
- Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure DevSecOps practices.
- Proven experience managing large budgets and complex vendor relationships.
- Strong executive communication skills, with experience presenting to Boards, Regulators, and ELT.
- Familiarity with major security and risk frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS, COBIT).
