About The Role

We are seeking a DeFi Engineer to drive protocol integrations and scale our trading infrastructure across multiple blockchains. This role covers the full gamut of DeFi trading from the development of data pipelines and smart contracts to the low-latency off-chain execution infrastructure. You will work closely with trading and research teams to ensure our systems are fast, reliable, and scalable across Ethereum and L2s, as well as other non-EVM ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust integrations with leading DeFi protocols
• Write and operate gas-efficient smart contracts to better interact with other protocols
• Optimize the execution pipelines for each chain (e.g. order routing and transaction broadcasting)
• Monitor and tune systems to benchmark and improve performance
• Ensure that systems are resilient and follow best practices
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in DeFi protocol integration and smart contract development.
• Proficiency in backend/system programming languages (Rust, Typescript preferred).
• Solid understanding of blockchain environments such as EVMs, SVMs and MVMs.
• Experience in the development of latency-sensitive systems, ideally in the trading domain.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning (Prometheus, Grafana, custom latency metrics).

• Experience with HFT market-making.
• Contributed to DeFi or blockchain projects.
• Familiarity with MEV ecosystems, builder marketplaces, and advanced blockchain execution techniques.
• Experience scaling across heterogeneous blockchain environments.
