Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Location: Remote | Commitment: Full-time
A stealth start-up at the intersection of blockchain and AI is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer with deep roots in Web3 culture. The CMO will lead growth, community, and brand strategy using techniques native to crypto — from KOL activations and incentive programs to meme-driven narratives and token launch campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and run a Web3-first marketing strategy across X (Crypto Twitter), Telegram, Discord, Farcaster, and other native channels.
- Create narratives that connect the project’s blockchain and AI vision to both degen communities and institutional partners.
- Build and manage KOL networks: negotiate partnerships, activate campaigns, and track measurable impact.
- Launch campaigns aligned with token mechanics, trading activity, and ecosystem milestones.
- Oversee community engagement including AMAs, airdrops, referral programs, meme contests, and hackathons.
- Coordinate with BD and product teams to ensure marketing drives adoption, on-chain volume, and liquidity.
- Track success with Web3-native KPIs such as wallet activations, token holder growth, TVL, and community retention.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2+ years directly in Web3.
- Proven success scaling communities or user bases for DeFi, NFT, or blockchain projects.
- Fluent in Web3 culture, memes, and terminology, with the ability to craft campaigns that feel authentic.
- Strong KOL and influencer network across major crypto platforms (Twitter, Telegram, Discord, YouTube).
- Hands-on experience with Web3-native marketing techniques: airdrops, bounty programs, incentive campaigns, and DAO/community engagement.
- Comfortable balancing fast-moving, meme-driven marketing with professional strategy for long-term adoption.
