We are looking for a Head of Data to lead our Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams in building the core intelligence layer behind the live events resale ecosystem. This role is central to developing the models, infrastructure, and data products that power our dynamic pricing, liquidity routing, and yield management systems.

As Head of Data, you’ll define and execute the company’s data strategy, build scalable infrastructure, and drive applied machine learning into production. You’ll partner closely with our trading, product, and engineering leaders to maximize revenue across exchanges and strengthen our position as the market’s leading liquidity provider.

What You'll Do:

• Own the Data Strategy: Define and execute a data vision that supports dynamic liquidity routing, predictive pricing, and yield optimization.
• Build the Team: Hire, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary team across Data Science, Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics Engineering.
• Applied ML & Modeling: Drive development of models for pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and inventory risk management, ensuring models are productionized and measurable.
• Data Infrastructure: Oversee the design of real-time data pipelines, unified exchange data ingestion (API + scraped + third-party feeds), and scalable platforms that handle event-driven spikes in volume.
• Productization: Partner with Product Management to define and deliver internal data products (dashboards, APIs, forecasting tools) that enable the business to make faster, smarter decisions.
• Business Impact: Translate company objectives (revenue growth, capital efficiency, risk absorption) into measurable data outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with Trading, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to ensure data priorities align with company strategy.
• Culture & Governance: Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and continuous improvement, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and trust in our data.

Who You Are:

• A seasoned data leader (10+ years) with deep experience across Data Science, Engineering, and BI.
• Proven track record of scaling applied ML systems into production environments with business-critical impact.
• Strong technical foundation in modern data infrastructure (streaming, cloud, data warehouses, ML platforms).
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate trading/market dynamics into quantitative models.
• Experienced in hiring and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborative leader who thrives in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making tradeoffs, and aligning senior stakeholders.
• Motivated by building defensible, data-driven advantages in competitive markets.
