About You

We’re looking for a Lead Data & AI Analytics Strategist who thrives at the intersection of data, AI, and client strategy. You don’t just build dashboards—you guide business leaders to smarter decisions with clear, AI-powered insights.


You’re equally comfortable in the weeds (debugging a GTM server-side tag, building a Power BI model, writing SQL) and at the boardroom table (presenting attribution frameworks, forecasting with AI, or advising clients on next-gen measurement strategies).


You are a natural storyteller who can bridge the gap between complex data models and real-world business outcomes. You stay curious, push innovation with tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT and know how to lead clients and internal teams toward better, faster, AI-assisted decisions.


This role requires availability from 8 AM – 12 PM EST for team and client overlap. The other 4 hours each day are flexible to fit your routine. Salary range is between $20-$25 per hour.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory & Strategy
  • Act as the primary analytics lead for key clients, advising on measurement, attribution, and AI-enabled decision-making.
  • Translate data into clear business recommendations and growth opportunities.
  • Data & Tracking Leadership
  • Oversee advanced tracking setups (GTM client/server-side, GA4, Meta CAPI, etc.), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability.
  • Architect and optimize data pipelines with Supermetrics, Power BI, SQL, BigQuery, Redshift, and cloud integrations.
  • AI & Automation Innovation
  • Leverage Claude Code, ChatGPT, and/or BigQuery ML to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and surface actionable insights.
  • Build internal AI-first frameworks for anomaly detection, predictive modeling, and marketing mix modeling.
  • Visualization & Storytelling
  • Design and maintain executive-ready dashboards in Power BI, Looker Studio, and Tableau, tailored for client decision-making.
  • Use AI tools to generate data-driven narratives, trend summaries, and scenario planning.
  • Cross-Team Leadership
  • Partner with Paid Media, SEO, Amazon, and Client Services to align KPIs and deliver strategic insights.
  • Mentor internal teams on best practices in analytics, BI, and AI adoption.


Mandatory Skills


  • Deep experience in Google Tag Manager, GA4, and server-side tracking
  • Proven leadership in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, modeling, and advanced visuals)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience managing data pipelines
  • 2-3 years of agency or consulting background with client-facing experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to explain complex data concepts in plain language for business leaders
  • Demonstrated fluency in AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GA4 predictive metrics, BigQuery ML, etc.)
  • Hands-on with Supermetrics, Zapier, cloud DBs (Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Use natural language AI models (e.g., ChatGPT) to summarize trends, write data-driven narratives, and brainstorm experiment ideas.
  • Proven expertise with data visualization platforms (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of marketing tech stacks, ad platforms, and attribution methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail with a natural instinct to QA and troubleshoot data flows
  • Data-driven storytelling and the ability to explain complex tracking frameworks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong time management, autonomy, and collaboration in a remote work environment


Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Power BI, Python scripting, or cloud-based automation
  • Building out automated reports from GA4 + ad platforms + CRM using AI scripting or Zapier
  • Developing prompt frameworks for use in ChatGPT, Claude, or other LLMs
  • Exposure to marketing experiments using AI (e.g., ad performance prediction, content personalization)
  • Familiarity with privacy-first data design (GDPR, CCPA, consent mode)

Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. This is an independent contractor position.
