we are searching for an Firmware Test Engineer to join a team In Vienna. This renowned company is also known for its expertise in level, force, and flow measurement, as well as calibration technology. Responsibilities:
- Development of manual / automated embedded firmware testing methods and tools
- Creation of test cases, test specifications and scenarios at system, component and unit level
- Systematic execution of tests as well as error analysis including debugging with the help of a bug tracking tool
- Evaluation, assessment and documentation of the results
- Close cooperation with firm - and hardware development
- Consistent cooperation with German headquarters
Profile:
- Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering, informatics or similar qualification
- ISTQB certified
- Several years of professional experience in testing of embedded systems
- Experience in the creation and handling of technical documents and test plans
- Good knowledge in C/C++ and embedded software development
- Understanding of architecture and high demands on software quality
- Good English language skills, German language skills is a plus
