Are you a Quality Engineer who can help us take our testing to the next level? Our chatbot is at the heart of our product, but it’s part of a bigger web platform — and both need solid, reliable testing.
About The Role
This role is a mix:
- You’ll set up automated testing from scratch — choosing the right tools, designing the framework, and building it out over time.
- You’ll also spend plenty of time on manual testing to make sure we’re catching things automation can’t.
You don’t need to walk in with a fully built framework in your pocket — but you do need to have done this before and know how to lead the process. We’ll start small, make smart choices, and grow our coverage step by step.
Our stack is React on the frontend and ASP.NET Core on the backend, and the chatbot is tightly woven into it — so you’ll get to work across the full flow, not just one corner of it.
What you’ll be doing:
- Figuring out and setting up the right automation tools and framework for our needs.
- Running manual and exploratory tests for new features, edge cases, and unexpected bugs.
- Checking chatbot conversations across devices and browsers, including unusual scenarios and handovers.
- Using BrowserStack to cover different devices and browsers.
- Testing end-to-end flows from the UI, through APIs, to backend services.
- Making sure accessibility standards (like WCAG) are met, especially in chat components.
- Working with developers and product owners to make sure stories are clear and testable.

About The Team
We’re a mix of people from Finland (Turku, Espoo, Tampere), Sweden (Stockholm), Norway (Grimstad), and now Denmark. Ten of us in total, all a bit obsessed with new tech and finding ways to make it work for us. Our mission is to proactively guide customers in digital channels, facilitating easy access to information and services, and enable seamless access to human channels when needed.
Our days are spent building and experimenting with chatbots, clickbots, guidance components, GPT AI models, generative AI and whatever else we get curious about. We set ourselves big targets, put in the work to get there, and still find time to mess around — usually with GIFs, memes, or the kind of bad jokes you’d never say in a meeting. We’re here to do great things, but we’re also here to have a good time doing them.
Who you are?
You care about quality, but you’re practical about it. You like figuring things out, spotting the small stuff, and making things better. You’re not put off by starting small — you’re happy to build, test, and improve as you go. You work well with others but don’t need someone holding your hand every step of the way.
You also have:
- A proven experience setting up test automation from scratch — tool choice, framework design, and implementation.
- Experience in web automation testing. If you’ve worked with React or ASP.NET Core, great — but it’s not a must.
- Any experience with chatbot testing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of the basics of integration testing.
- Care about accessibility.
- A willingness to balance automation with manual testing.
- Experience with CI/CD, API testing (e.g. Postman), or performance testing is a plus.
