ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh.

This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Main descriptions of the job position:

• Assist the Project Manager in the running of the project.
• Coordinate the overall technical design and construction of the project with the various Design Consultants and Contractors appointed by the client.
• Review and interpret the design technical drawings and specifications and construction plans of each project, as well as all related design and technical drawings, to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify and assess potential risks and issues.
• Act as a liaison between the consultant project team and the client, he will handle all technical matters and understand their requirements.
• Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee the technical designs to ensure they adhere to recognized codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, resulting in the delivery of the highest quality work to the client.
• Responsible for coordinating with other discipline managers in the team to provide direction to the consultant staff and foster a spirit of collaboration throughout the construction supervision services.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Member of chartered institution.
• Applicable Experience: over 20 years in project management, particularly in mega construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills
• Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
• Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.

Additional requirements:

• Transferable Iqama in case non-Saudi.
• Based in Riyadh.
• Valid SCE membership.
