We are Guida e Vai SRL, and our mission is to promote road safety and prevention by providing multi-business services for obtaining a driver’s license. We are currently looking for a Backend Developer to join our Tech Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django Rest Framework.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Work with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing.
• Operate in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks like Django.
• Experience with Docker for containerized applications.
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ).
• Comfortable working in a Linux-based environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Familiarity or proficiency with frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Ionic, React).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.

• Fixed-term contract with the goal of permanent employment (according to the Italian National Collective Labor Agreement for the Commerce sector – CCNL Commercio).
• Gross Annual Salary (RAL) to be defined based on the candidate's experience and profile.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday.
• Incentive and bonus system.
• On-site work at our Milan office – Via Cusago 150/4 (NO REMOTE WORKING)
• For organizational needs, priority will be given to candidates residing or domiciled in Milan West and surrounding areas, preferably with their own means of transportation.
