We are an ambitious, tech-focused team of builders, with international experience across multiple startups/scale-ups in different fields including Insurtech, AI& Robotics, e-commerce and travel tech.

We work in Lisbon city center (hybrid regime), in a sunny office. We are moving fast and transforming the traditional world of insurance through AI and Robotics.

Insurance is a very tradition sector, where significant workflows are operated through traditional methods – conversations, documents and manual operations. Our technology – notably AI and Robotics – is transforming the way how traditional insurance agents operate their business, saving hours, so they can spend more time with their clients developing more and faster business.

What you’ll do:

• Build & Scale: design, develop, test, deploy and maintain a high-performance backend services and API’s.
• Data Management: work with databases like MongoDB, focus on schema design, optimization and integrity.
• Collaborate: Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features
• Optimize: Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and continuously improve backend infrastructure.
• Innovate: Contribute ideas to technical challenges and product evolution.

Who you are:

• Experience: 4+ years building backend systems w/ academic experience. (mandatory)
• Proficient in two major backend language (Python & Typescript).
• API Knowledge: Understand RESTful principles.
• GIT, Docker, Data Structures (nice to have).
• Problem-Solver: Enjoy tackling complex technical challenges.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset, thrive in startups,.
• Proficient in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
• Hybrid with presence 2 days p/ week to Lisbon Office.
• Visa/Work permit to work in Portugal. (mandatory)
