We are hiring an experienced Mobile and Web Application Engineer to join our client, a prestigious Swiss private bank.
Job Summary:
As Mobile and Web Application Engineer, you are designing, developing and maintaining functionality for our digital channels and provide top-notch applications and features for web and mobile to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement features for client-facing digital platform channels using ReactJS and React Native, with occasional iOS/Android development.
- Integrate applications with backend services, ensuring seamless communication and performance.
- Keep applications and dependencies up-to-date to maintain high standards of functionality and security.
- Contribute to the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) build pipelines, optimizing for efficiency and reliability.
- Provide 3rd-level support, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mobile and web development, ideally within a client-focused industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in frontend technologies, especially React for web, and React Native for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with mobile development, ideally with experience in iOS.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Approach and Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- A hands-on mentality, taking responsibility, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Languages: Fluent in English; fluency in German and/or Portuguese is a plus.
