About This Role

We are seeking a Java Software Developer to join our international team at VOIS Romania Technologies. This role is focused on developing strategic tools that enhance and automate business processes and workflows. The successful candidate will work on complex solutions involving databases, business logic, and system integrations, contributing to Vodafone’s software engineering strategy. This is a collaborative opportunity to experiment with diverse technologies while delivering impactful solutions across the business ecosystem.

What You Will Do

• Develop well-structured, maintainable code in line with company standards
• Document system changes and enhancements clearly
• Collaborate effectively within a distributed team environment
• Provide input on impact analysis across systems
• Coordinate development and delivery processes throughout the product lifecycle
• Estimate time and effort for upcoming features based on specifications
• Mentor and support less experienced colleagues to foster team growth
  
  
  

Who You Are

• Proven experience in Java software development, including Spring, JSF, JSP, APIs, and testing frameworks
• Skilled in data processing and manipulation, with strong SQL knowledge (Oracle preferred)
• Experienced in deploying and managing Java applications on Apache
• Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, ideally Scrum
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
