Our client is a professional software services provider based in Iași, Romania. We’re looking for a Junior iOS Software Developer who is passionate about technology and eager to learn. You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of iOS mobile applications, working closely with our development team. You’ll receive mentorship and support and actively participate in improving the quality of our products.
This role is available only in Iasi, requires onsite presence and involves an employment contract (CIM).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of mobile applications for the iOS platform.
- Implement core features and resolve bugs under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate closely with design and backend teams to integrate and refine functionalities.
- Test implemented features and support efforts to improve the overall user experience.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in iOS development, gained through professional work, academic projects, or personal initiatives;
- Basic proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C;
- Familiarity with Xcode and the broader iOS development ecosystem;
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and common design patterns;
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON data formats;
- Eagerness to learn and openness to receiving and applying constructive feedback;
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset;
- Conversational proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience (academic or personal) with UIKit, SwiftUI, or CoreData;
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems;
- Basic understanding of the App Store submission and publishing process.
