We are looking for a Optical Network Engineer to join our team and help us deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

What you will do:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. A Master’s degree in a relevant area will be a plus.

More than 3 years of experience in optical networks within the telecommunications industry.

Knowledge of common SDH/WDM/OTN principles.

Experience in engineering service delivery and design processes, including:

• Optical network (ON) survey design
• ON solution design
• Script preparation
• Integration and commissioning

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate subcontractors.

Knowledge and experience with Huawei equipment (OSN 1800, OSN 6800/8800, OSN 9800, among others).

Familiarity with Huawei tools (NCE, among others).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

Detail-oriented, proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility, service orientation, and confidentiality.

Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Advanced English (working language). Knowledge of German, French, or Spanish will be considered an advantage.

Experience with customer tools such as Z-smart, GEOS, or Cramer.

Holding the German "Sabotage Permission" will be considered a plus.
