What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience designing, building & scaling backend systems for production products
- Fluency in Go, Rust, or similar backend languages, plus strong API design skills
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and performance tradeoffs
- Proven experience integrating with frontend and ML systems to deliver product features
- Strong product instincts: you know how to balance fast delivery with building for the long term

- Design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components
- Own backend systems end-to-end: architecture, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Collaborate with frontend, ML, and product teams to translate ideas into robust, scalable features
- Contribute to shaping our backend architecture, engineering culture, and technical strategy
We're building with tools that both humans and AI love:
- Frontend: React
- Backend: Golang and Rust
- Cloud: Cloudflare, GCP, AWS, Many LLM providers
- DevOps & Tooling: Github Actions, Grafana, OTEL, , infra-as-code (Terraform)
