As a Senior Android Developer at Thaumatec Tech Group, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative mobile solutions within the Wavy app and platform. You will work on advanced features including content streaming, live streaming, and in-app chat, ensuring seamless user experiences for teachers and students alike.

You will

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Implement and enhance features such as streaming, live sessions, and group chat.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Write automated tests and practice Test-Driven Development to guarantee stability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring clean architecture.
• Collaborate in a professional, international environment with clear communication and ownership.

Must haves

• Significant commercial experience in Android development (8+ years) with a strong focus on Kotlin for the last 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and SQL.
• Experience in automated testing for Android apps.
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably GitHub).
• Practice with Test-Driven Development.
• Extensive experience with code reviews and constructive feedback.
• Professional-level English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of GoLang (to communicate with the Wavy app and WaveData platform).
• Background in streaming platforms and/or chat development.
• Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

💰 Salary range: 14,000 – 23,000 PLN gross
