We’re currently partnered with a leading technology consultancy who are scaling their tech team. They offer a diverse work environment that provide services in the UAE impacting millions of lives. We're currently helping them search for an Android Developer to join their ever growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, high-quality Android applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement innovative features.
• Optimise application performance and ensure top-tier quality and responsiveness.
• Write efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve application bugs and performance challenges.
• Incorporate C++ libraries to extend application capabilities and functionality.
• Embed mini-games into Android applications using platforms like Unity or Cocos2d.
• Partner with backend developers to achieve smooth integration between applications and server-side systems.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into development workflows.

Qualifications & skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in Android development with a solid track record of published apps on the Google Play Store.
• Strong command of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and integrating remote data through RESTful APIs.
• Comprehensive understanding of Android UI design standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with C++ and experience incorporating C++ libraries into Android apps is an advantage.
