Position Summary

As and Azure Cloud and Infrastructure Architect, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor in the pre-sales lifecycle, collaborating with both client and internal stakeholders to transform business and infrastructure challenges into robust solution proposals. Your expertise will span Azure, on-prem, or hybrid environments, backed by hands-on knowledge of infrastructure platforms like Dell, HPE, VMware, OpenStack, and OpenShift. You’ll ensure every design reflects enterprise-grade architecture principles, aligned to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Landing Zones, while also tailoring high-performance, GPU-powered capabilities when they elevate the solution’s value.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into compelling proposals, including RFP responses, SOWs, and resource estimates.
• Lead discovery sessions, design workshops, and proof-of-concepts with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Design hybrid cloud and infrastructure solutions across Azure, VMWare, Dell/HPE, and OpenStack/OpenShift.
• Develop delivery and resource models to support phased implementation and scalability.
• Architect infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion automation and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining governance.
• Embed identity, access, and security best practices into all solution designs.
• Ensure seamless integration with ITSM, NOC, and SOC processes for operational readiness.
• Leverage Azure-native tools (Defender, Sentinel, Arc, AKS) for security, compliance, and workload optimisation.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and partner teams as a trusted advisor from discovery to deal closure.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive experience in solution architecture or pre-sales roles with a strong emphasis on Azure-based hybrid integration.
• Hands-on experience with CAD, Azure Landing Zones, identity/network/security design, GPU workloads, and multi-platform integration (Dell, HPE, VMWare, OpenStack/OpenShift)
• Proven ability in crafting proposals, responding to RFPs/SOW creation, and facilitating solution-focused workshops.
• Skilled in Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills - comfortable with C-level and technical audiences.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or GPU/VMWare/OpenShift certifications.
