This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Vanta. We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Self-Serve in the United States and Canada.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on simplifying compliance for businesses. In this role, you will develop and enhance platform features that guide customers through first-time compliance, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver AI-powered insights. You will work on greenfield projects and reusable platform components that improve user engagement and enable product trials. The position requires collaboration across multiple teams, technical leadership on complex projects, and a focus on scalable solutions. Your work will have a direct impact on customer success while shaping the underlying platform architecture for future growth. This role offers full remote flexibility while providing opportunities to contribute to innovative security and compliance solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of fullstack product features using modern frameworks such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Drive technical strategy and decisions across key platform areas to support rapid growth and customer activation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to break down complex compliance requirements into user-friendly experiences
  • Develop reusable patterns and primitives to strengthen the platform and support new business opportunities, including product trials and integrations
  • Own the delivery of greenfield projects from conception through production while mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the organization's long-term vision for compliance automation


Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on fullstack development
  • Proven experience leading technical projects or teams in complex, high-impact initiatives
  • Previous startup experience or work in environments that prioritize rapid execution and bias for action
  • Hands-on experience developing greenfield projects or scalable platform components
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web development practices
  • Interest in or experience with security and compliance concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture
