Job Summary
As a Track Lead in Support & Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding teams responsible for delivering high-quality support services. Your expertise in VMWare NSX and Software Defined Networking (SDN) will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring SLA compliance, and enhancing network performance. This role combines strong technical knowledge with leadership capabilities to ensure client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Mentorship – Lead and mentor the Support & Operations team, leveraging VMWare NSX and SDN technologies to optimize network performance and align outcomes with client expectations.
- Operational Efficiency – Develop and implement operational systems using VMWare NSX to improve management reporting, streamline information flow, and enhance organizational planning processes.
- Communication & Alignment – Ensure transparent communication of project goals, deliverables, and progress with all stakeholders to maintain alignment across teams and clients.
- Innovation & Process Improvement – Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process enhancement within the SDN framework and implementing solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Client-Centric Solutions – Deliver expert-level solutions using VMWare NSX to meet client requirements, improve business outcomes, and enhance service delivery quality.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Networking, Routing, and Switching.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with VMWare NSX (NSX-V / NSX-T).
- Proven track record with SDN technologies in enterprise or service provider environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with vRealize Network Insight (vRNI).
- Previous leadership experience in Support & Operations environments.
- Familiarity with Canadian enterprise or telecom networks.
