IT Project Manager (Government and Cloud/AI)

As part of Keyrus’ solution delivery, we are also in a position to recruit and place technical consultants to complement on existing client projects with their expertise. As such, we seek innovative and agile people to support ambitious and forthcoming technological challenges.

Position Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering IT transformation initiatives within government or public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Cloud and AI projects for government agencies.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies across multi-stakeholder environments.
• Work closely with government stakeholders, ministries, and public agencies to align technology solutions with policy and operational requirements.
• Ensure adherence to government procurement frameworks, tender processes, and reporting standards.
• Oversee vendor management and coordination with system integrators, consulting partners, and cloud service providers.
• Facilitate workshops and communication between business, technical, and policy teams.
• Ensure compliance with data sovereignty, security, and ethical AI principles in project delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and government stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in delivering projects for government or public sector clients, with at least 1 year experience in government cloud
• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
