Job Title: Golang Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Golang.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Leverage AWS cloud services for scalable deployments and infrastructure management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and front-end engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex backend issues.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of backend development experience, with 4+ years of focused expertise in Golang.
• Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Microservices Architecture and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in sprint-based development cycles.

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid Role; Needs to work 3 days from Office in a week). Can consider for Richmond, VA location as well.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120,000– $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
