Description
Prelude is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of our product roadmap, defining product requirements, and driving the success of our software products from concept to launch and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Provide input into the product roadmap based on research, feedback and business goals
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of the company’s goals.
- Become the subject matter expert for the product.
Product Requirements and Prioritization:
- Gather and analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
- Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Product Development and Launch:
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Participate in agile development process (agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management).
- Monitor testing of features and fixes so that version release plan is on track.
- Conduct UAT of features.
- Own documentation for release notes, knowledge base content and applicable SOPs.
- Provide internal training for each product release.
Product Performance and Optimization:
- Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to continuously iterate and improve the product based on user needs and market feedback.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product strategy and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate customer needs and market insights into actionable product plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, with a deep understanding of agile methodologies and best practices.
- Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
