As a PHP developer at Fortune4 Technologies, you will be involved in developing and maintaining web applications that cater to diverse client needs. From e-commerce platforms to content management systems, our projects span various industries and offer opportunities for creativity and growth. Your role will be instrumental in implementing new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain PHP-based web applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code in compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the stability and performance of our applications.
- Stay updated on emerging PHP trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into our development process.
- 3+ years of experience in PHP web development, with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
- Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases, including database design and optimization.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Experience with other web development technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React) and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal).
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure and experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment
