This is a contract role for a Smart Contract Developer. The role is hybrid, located in Melbourne, VIC with some flexibility for remote work. The Smart Contract Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing smart contracts, primarily focusing on blockchain technology and decentralized applications. Day-to-day tasks include coding, testing, and deploying smart contracts, as well as collaborating with the product team to integrate blockchain solutions into the company's offerings. Additional tasks involve troubleshooting and performance optimization of smart contracts.

• Experience with blockchain technology and developing smart contracts
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, or Python
• Familiarity with decentralized applications (dApps) and the Ethereum blockchain
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and data structures
• Problem-solving skills and ability to optimize smart contract performance
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred
