Launched in 2022, Vertice is reshaping how businesses manage SaaS and cloud costs — making it fair, transparent, and built for the modern enterprise. In just three years, we've scaled fast:
- Managing $10+ billion in spend

- Growing 13x in revenue
- Backed by $100M+ in funding from leading VCs like Bessemer Venture Partners, 83North, and Lakestar
How we work at Vertice
At Vertice, we believe great work happens in an environment built on trust, autonomy, and collaboration.
- Autonomous teams operate without traditional tech leads or managers, making their own decisions on how to work, whether it's stand-ups, prioritization, or project management. While each team has its focus, no single team owns any part of the codebase, so there's flexibility to contribute where you can make the biggest impact.
- Chapters, where specialists from different teams come together to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and drive improvements.
- You'll be key to maintaining our high-quality solution standards.
- You're a pro at automation, ideally with experience using frameworks like Playwright or Behave.
- You can read and write code, preferably in Python (or other programming languages), and you have a strong understanding of how to apply it in a testing context.
- You can take ownership of challenging testing tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- You'll actively contribute to improvements in our testing frameworks, tooling, and processes that benefit multiple teams.
- You are open to helping less experienced QA engineers grow by sharing your expertise, offering guidance, and providing hands-on support when needed.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable communicating in an international team.
- You are ideally based in Linz, Austria.
- Frontend: TypeScript, React, Tanstack Query, React-hook-form, React Flow, Jotai, Material UI, Storybook, Highcharts
- Backend: AWS (Lambda, AWS Dynamo, Glue, StepFunctions, Athena, Timestream), Serverless, Microservices, Event-driven architecture, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, Golang, REST, and GraphQL APIs
- Testing and Automation: Playwright (E2E UI tests), Python+Behave (integration tests), CI/CD
We provide competitive remuneration packages, including stock purchase opportunities.
In accordance with legal requirements, we disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this role at €56,000 (full-time basis). Actual compensation will be offered above this level, depending on your skills and experience.
