All about the role

We are looking for a talented Strategy and Program Manager to join our newly formed Austria country management team, who will report to the Country Manager.

In this role, you will work closely with the Country Manager, and the function heads to drive performance, create insights, help shape market operations, strategy, and long-term scaling efforts. You will provide operational support, help architect and drive key programs that deliver outsized value for JET AT, its partners and customers. To do so, you will work closely across and with functions including sales, logistics, product, technology, business intelligence and marketing departments, ensuring cross functional alignment to execute complex projects successfully. You will also work closely with Global CCOO office and Program Managers in other JET markets to share best practises, lessons and learnings.

This is a unique opportunity to develop, influence and execute the strategy of the fast growing food delivery market leader, and be part of its newly formed management team in Austria.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Drive monthly and quarterly business performance review cycles for the country
• Support the delivery of the core strategic planning processes - including commercial strategy, and budget planning
• Support country management teams to execute processes efficiently, ensuring that internal tools solutions keep up to date with our changing business needs
• Collaborate cross functionally to drive strategic projects and ensure the organisation is exceeding the targets and our key initiatives are on track
• Foster strong relationships across Country Management, Sales & Operations, Product & Tech, Marketing, Legal, PMO & Finance, and identify and manage dependencies across teams
• Establish delivery and project management best practices and ways of working into teams
• Communicate clearly between internal and external teams, and confidently manage stakeholder expectations with associated communication.

Can you deliver…

• 5+ years at a top tier strategy consulting firm or experience in a fast growth startup, business operations role in tech or FMCG brand, investment banking, or private equity
• Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to structure programs delivery within a framework that clearly augments financial and operational goals
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic global projects and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop clear, actionable recommendations
• Confident at developing narratives for executive audiences, presenting concepts and ideas to a wide range of contributors and ExCo-level stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong attention to details
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a diverse audience from technology to sales
• Team player who can collaborate effectively with others; but at the same time work independently as needed
• Fluent in English and German (min. C1), both written and spoken
