Lead Fullstack Developer
Location: Brussels/Mechelen | Hybrid (1 day per week) | 12 Months contract
An exciting opportunity is available for a Full-Stack Developer to strengthen a development team working on a large-scale government application. The system manages critical integrations such as exam result submissions, licensing processes, and connections with multiple external platforms.
Role Overview
You will develop and implement new functionalities, take on the role of lead front-end developer, and support junior developers. With solid back-end experience, you will also contribute flexibly across the stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and implement new features based on use cases and domain models.
- Lead front-end development and support junior developers.
- Contribute to back-end development when needed.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Ensure quality through testing of existing and new functionalities.
- Document work in JIRA/Confluence and participate in team meetings.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience with Java 8+, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, Git, IntelliJ, TypeScript.
- Excellent command of Dutch.
- Experience with AWS and Docker is a plus.
