Role: Java Back-End Developers (Brussels)
What You’ll Do:
- Develop high-quality, maintainable software using Java & Spring ecosystem.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team following Scrum & XP practices.
- Contribute to software design, code reviews, and testing strategies (JUnit, Mockito).
- Work with REST APIs, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and modern architecture patterns.
- Ensure software meets security and privacy by design standards.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
- Solid understanding of OO principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, API testing (Swagger, Postman, REST-assured).
- Proficient with Git, Maven, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience with unit & integration testing, error handling, and code reviews.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (Jenkins), Kafka, Axon.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, frontend integration.
- Knowledge of data visualization & monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
