Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Your Main Responsibilities

  • developing and implementing modern software solutions in the energy trading field;
  • working as part of an agile development team, providing solutions that meet both technical requirements and business goals;
  • managing the reliability, performance, and security of existing applications, continuously improving them, and developing new functionalities by applying industry best practices;
  • ensuring system quality through automated testing and continuous integration.

You Are a Great Match If You Have

  • at least 4 years of experience in software development;
  • strong experience with Java and Spring Boot;
  • expertise with PostgreSQL or MsSQL databases, and familiarity with message queues like Kafka;
  • skills in using version control tools (Git) and familiar with CI/CD processes;
  • experience with DevOps practices and container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus;
  • experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana;
  • strong communication skills and English proficiency (Estonian is a plus).
