Job Description

What’s it all about?

The Network Integrations Team for Accounts in Visa Direct is responsible for the seamless integration of Visa Direct services with various financial institutions and payment network partners. We enable cross-border payments across the world ensuring that Visa Direct’s capabilities are effectively deployed, maintained, and optimized to facilitate quick, secure and reliable transactions.

This is a Product Owner role focusing on supporting and completing key service integration activities, gathering and interpreting business requirements and identifying and building improvements to Visa’s cross border network offering.

What We Expect Of You, Day To Day

  • Clearly define and communicate the product vision and strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain a well-prioritized and transparent product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the most valuable features and tasks for the development team. Lead agile/scaled agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups
  • Make informed decisions regarding product features, prioritization, and trade-offs, balancing technical feasibility, business value, and customer impact.
  • Ensure the product delivers a high-quality user experience by understanding customer needs, gathering feedback, and iterating on features based on user insights. Drive the standardisation of business and integration analysis across multiple markets and countries
  • Collaborate to set standards and improve data practices across Visa Direct and refine requirements for Payment Network partner integrations
  • Present complex and critical network feature demos to relevant Visa Direct stakeholders during sprint demos
  • Lead agile/scaled agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • You’ve got 3+ years in a product ownership, or scrum master in an agile team
  • You have 5+ years’ experience in payment industry, FX, cross border payments, SWIFT payments, ACH payments, ISO 20022, global instant payments schemes
  • Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical and business requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have defined process mapping, driven data transformation, migration and reconciliation projects
  • Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs. Solid technical competence in XML, JSON and other message syntax and basic Java knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in cross-border payment processes and find innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple product requirements concurrently, effectively prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects in a fast-paced environment.
