We’re Now Looking For a

Lead Mobile Developer for iOS

You’ll take a leading role in improving our code base and iOS applications, working closely with Android, quality, and backend engineers to ensure consistent and high-quality experiences across platforms. This is a hands-on role where your architectural vision and development skills directly shape the protection features millions of users rely on every day.

Your contributions will be part of the first major scam protection value bundle delivered through F-Secure Total, making a tangible impact on digital security.

About The Platform Excellence Team

Our purpose is to identify key pain points in mobile and backend development, simplify them, and standardize the practices and tools we use to build brilliant mobile software. We’re currently modernizing our mobile client and SDK architecture—removing legacy flows and laying the foundation for fast, sustainable delivery of future protection features.

Our hiring process

Our hiring process typically consists of two interview rounds. First, you'll have an introduction interview with the hiring manager and our Talent Acquisition. In the second round, you will dive deeper into technical discussions, as well as team and culture fit. For finalist candidates, there may also be a lightweight third round with one manager above the hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead iOS development efforts by designing and implementing modern, sustainable SDK architecture
  • Drive product quality and competitiveness through thoughtful design and technical decisions that balance user value, long-term maintainability, and delivery speed
  • Analyze and communicate complex requirements, assess risks, and review dependencies across systems and teams
  • Evaluate impact of design and implementation on long-term lifecycle costs, maintainability, and security
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Android, backend, and quality engineers to ensure consistent and reliable user experiences
  • Promote an excellent engineering culture, including estimation practices, peer reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Manage security risks by balancing cost of implementation with evolving threat levels
  • Mentor and guide teammates, championing best practices in iOS development and architectural approaches

Who are we looking for?

  • Solid hands-on iOS development experience (Swift, frameworks)
  • Proven track record of contributing to or leading architectural decisions in mobile software
  • Solid understanding of building robust, testable, and maintainable mobile systems
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across platforms and disciplines
  • Ability to mentor and guide other engineers, sharing expertise openly
