Your Opportunity

We are currently looking for a HR Specialist to join our HR team in Finland. As a HR Specialist, you will support with the running of daily HR activities, ensuring high-quality HR support for our employees across our Hämeenlinna site and our global HQ in Espoo.

To succeed in this varied and fast paced role, you should have a positive outlook with a proactive and self-directive style.

Where you’ll be

The primary location is Hämeenlinna with occasional work from our HQ in Espoo.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running and developing the daily HR activities both at Hämeenlinna site and Espoo headquarters
  • Assisting in the running of annual HR processes locally
  • Providing first line support and advice to people leaders and employees regarding HR policies, processes, systems and tools
  • Assisting HR Managers in daily tasks
  • Coordination of payroll for Huhtamaki Finland, Estonia, Norway and Sweden with outsourced payroll partner
  • Acting as the contact person for occupational health care
  • Coordinating people costs and reporting
  • Developing HR processes and ensuring excellent employee experience during the entire employee lifecycle

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience in HR processes.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish is essential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • A positive mindset and eagerness to work in a truly international environment.
  • Previous experience in Workday would be advantageous
