YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
Based in Paris or Munich, the HR GENERALIST Central Europe is a key influencer in people, organization and business development, you will be working closely with our European team and the retail director Central Europe to develop the retail staff organization in the region. You will be oversee 4 countries including Germany, Switzerland, Czeck Republic and Netherlands.
Job Responsibilities
YOUR IMPACT
TALENT ACQUISITION
- Lead talent acquisition efforts in the full cycle recruitment process
- Participate in the initial intake with hiring manager
- Provide thought partnership on how the role should be filled and how the team will evolve
- Define and lead the interview and compensation proposal processes
- Lead process if an internal promotion or transfer
- Champion in building a talent pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of candidates for key positions
- Coach and advise leadership on performance management conversations and documentation
- Ownership & oversight of respective population headcount & staff costs budget, staffing requisition process, and maintenance of organizational charts
- Manage employee outboarding and exit process
- Contribute to the creation/maintenance of HR dashboard & metrics
- Draw conclusions and recommendations based on trends of HR data points
- Proactively meet with employee population to maintain a pulse on the business and the impacts to our talent
- Help coach, create and design content of performance reviews, objectives and developmental stretch assignments in alignment with goals of company and aspirations of employees
- In collaboration with EME retail team and HR, assist with facilitation of training related to various needs
- Oversee onboarding process for new employees, ensuring the best new employee experience
- Responsible for the annual performance review process
- Proactively and strategically make recommendations related to processes.
- Assists in the development and administration of all other projects, programs, procedures and guidelines
- Partner with key stake holders for employee-focused initiatives
- Participate, ideate and coordinate employee engagement events and in-house programs
- Ensure the health and safety procedure are compliant and the corresponding trainings are execute timely
- Ownership/maintenance of new hires and/or employee changes in hris & lvmh talent system
- Liaison to payroll and communicate any changes and updates
- Maintain accurate employee files in compliance with legal guidelines
- Interface with immigration lawyer on all visa related matters for nonresident hires
- Maintain appropriate knowledge of legal requirements
- Partner with legal department as needed
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
KEYS FOR SUCCESS EDUCATION: master’s/bachelor degree EXPERIENCE: at least 3 years of HR retail management experience SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Entrepreneurial spirit with a demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change. Discreet handling of sensitive and confidential information. Adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations at the Italian and Spain market LANGUAGES: Fluent in German and English, another language would be a plus WORKPLACE: Munich or Paris and availability to travel in the market STARTING DATE: ASAP TYPE OF CONTRACT: Temporary, fixed-term contract 12 months
