We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with 3+ years of experience, preferably in the ICT or Cybersecurity sector.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing machine learning systems and applications
• Collaborate with data scientists to optimize and convert data science prototypes/models to production-ready applications
• Training and retraining ML systems and models as needed

Key requirements:

• MS or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• Possess strong programming proficiency in Python
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and programming languages
• Good knowledge of containers technology (Docker)
• Experience to design and develop machine learning applications in production
• Good knowledge of ML/AI frameworks (Tensorflow / Keras, PyTorch etc.)
• Strong knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and concepts
• Good knowledge of software engineering processes, agile methodologies, tools, methods, test development, algorithms, and data structures
• Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English
• Team player
• Communication skills

Nice to haves:

• Familiarity with orchestration systems in cloud environments (ECS, EKS)
• Base knowledge of one or more data-oriented workflow and pipeline orchestration frameworks (TFX, KubeFlow, Airflow, etc.)
• Familiarity with one or more cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with distributed systems, and UNIX/Linux environments
• A disciplined approach to development, documentation, and code structure
• Familiarity with DNS, HTTP/S, and SSL/TLS protocol stack and basic networking concepts
• Possess an attitude to security and privacy and knowledge of secure code design guidelines
