About the Client

We are partnering with a global AI-driven technology department that builds scalable applications powered by proprietary machine learning models. With a strong engineering culture, the team focuses on backend development, APIs, and efficient system design, ensuring real-world impact across thousands of users worldwide.

The engineering teams are distributed across Portugal (Lisbon & Porto), Paris, and the UK, with Portugal serving as a key hub of growth.

The Role

We are looking for 2 experienced Python Developers to join the AI engineering team in Lisbon.

This is an opportunity to work on scalable, production-ready AI applications, contributing directly to high-visibility use cases and expanding a fast-growing global user base.

The focus is backend development (not data science), building robust APIs and services that run on top of proprietary AI models.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and optimize APIs and services for high-volume, synchronous workloads.
• Work on code efficiency, data structures, and memory optimization.
• Collaborate with engineers in Portugal, the UK, and Paris on AI product delivery.
• Contribute to production-ready AI applications used by hundreds of thousands of users globally.
