We are looking for a Golang Developer for a hybrid project in Aveiro (2x a week in the office):

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Go (Golang).
• Build scalable, reliable, and secure APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Frontend, QA, Product).
• Optimize applications for performance and efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Golang development.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proficiency in English (B2 or above).
