Job Summary:
We are seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our Global Data Privacy department. The selected candidates will support the team in managing key privacy tools, developing and maintaining documentation, and driving awareness through communications and training. This internship offers hands-on experience in global privacy governance and risk management practices across a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Tool & Data Management
- Support the management of the TrustArc DP&P risk assessment tool.
- Maintain and update the DPQP assessment data library to ensure consistency.
- Identify and flag business processes requiring reassessment due to high-risk indicators.
- Assist in developing the Audit Portfolio based on risk classification.
- Ensure alignment and data consistency between TrustArc and other risk assessment tools (e.g., CSQP, SAQP).
- Help leverage TrustArc's capabilities to enhance risk mapping by business processes.
- Contribute to expanding and improving the use of the TrustArc platform.
- Support the management of the Data Breach Reporting tool, ensuring alignment with Cybersecurity Reporting procedures.
Governance Documentation
- Help manage and maintain the Data Privacy & Protection (DP&P) Policies & Standards Library.
- Assist in developing a structured document repository aligned with program requirements.
- Ensure documentation is consistent with Ethics & Compliance (E&C) and HR Compliance standards.
- Support the implementation of a formal document, review and update process.
Communication & Training
- Maintain and update the DP&P HUB page and related training materials.
- Assist in the development and execution of the DP&P Annual Communication & Training Plan, ensuring alignment with the E&C Compliance Plan.
- Support the development of global data privacy legislation and regulatory library, including consolidation of legal alerts and tracking updates.
Essential Requirements:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Law, Information Security, Public Policy, Business, or related field.
- Strong interest in global data privacy, compliance, or cybersecurity.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools; experience with data platforms or assessment tools (e.g., TrustArc, ServiceNow) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
