Water Revolution Foundation is seeking an inspiring and strategic Executive Director to lead our mission of promoting sustainability and protecting our beloved oceans.

Your Mission

As the driving force behind the Foundation, you will:

• Steer the Foundation’s vision by developing and executing impactful policies.
• Be the change – tirelessly advocating for sustainability progress in the yachting industry.
• Engage key stakeholders at all levels, ad ensure active involvement from supporting partners.
• Lead & manage a dynamic team, ensuring projects align with priorities and are delivered within reasonable time to maintain the Foundation’s output driven spirit.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Policy Development

• Develop & execute the Foundation’s Policy Agenda in collaboration with the Board.
• Prepare and oversee annual plans, budgets, and performance reports.

Industry Engagement & Advocacy

• Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, policymakers, and stakeholders.
• Act as the primary spokesperson, representing the Foundation at high-profile industry events and media engagements.

Team & Foundation Management

• Oversee and direct a young, complementary and diverse team of professionals.
• Responsible for Foundation’s programme, ensuring successful execution of all projects

Who You Are

We’re looking for a passionate leader with:

• A proven track record of at least 10 years in sustainability, maritime industry, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in non-profit management or high-level policy roles.
• Strong diplomatic and communication skills, with the ability to influence industry leaders.
• A well-established network in the superyacht industry and/or ocean conservation sector.
• The confidence and presence to advocate for change and handle media interactions.
• A strategic mindset, capable of balancing long-term goals with agile decision-making.
• A university degree or equivalent higher education.
