The Role

We’re looking for a freelance Technical Content Creator to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll produce content that makes complex technology understandable, engaging, and inspiring.

Depending on the project, you might own content end-to-end (research, scripting, production), or support with editing, repurposing, and shorter social snippets. Some projects will lean on the technical side, targeting developers, while others will be lighter, aimed at reaching broader audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality technical content (video and written) that explains concepts clearly and creatively
• Collaborate with the Ambient team and clients to define content pipelines and deliverables
• Research, script, and produce tutorials, highlight reels, and showcases
• Edit or collaborate with editors to bring projects to completion
• Stay up-to-date with the latest in gaming, AI, and creative technology trends

What We’re Looking For

• A background in game development, creative technology, or software (Unreal Engine, Unity, or AI tools experience is a big plus)
• Ability to explain technical or complex concepts in an accessible, engaging way
• Experience with content creation (video production, scripting, or technical writing)
• Self-driven and reliable, comfortable working remotely and asynchronously
• Bonus: Skills in design, motion graphics, or editing tools (e.g., Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve)
